Feverish Dreams

Filed Under: Dreams | Saturday, 05 January 2008

The mot jacked up dreams that I have ever had were when I was on morphene. Although, last night’s dreams come in to a pretty close second. And actually they weren’t even last night’s dreams, they were todays dreams…between last night and today I got close to 20 hours of sleep, and even now as I write this I could be sleeping, but I’ve got this commitment to keep, blog 365. So, last night’s feverish dreams:

(I really only have bits and pieces of this one)
I’m in sweden at a theme park, all the signs are written in swedish (don’t ask me how I know this, I just do). And there’s a war going on and things are blowing up and there’s people dressed in all black with night goggles on running around shooting their guns. And I’m running towards a space ship and some mom asks me to take her stroller with 3 kids in it. I turn around and I can see that the one in the front and the one in the middle have been shot. And I start to say something and she says that they’ll be ok, please take them, and she pushes the middle one up so that it’s not leaning out of the stroller anymore but is sitting up. Although I don’t say I’ll take them, I end up with them. Next thing I know I’m driving in a car and we pass a park, the one kid that’s alive wants to stop and go down the dinosaur slide. I keep driving, as we pass the bottom of the slide, there’s a man sitting there explaining to the kids at the park that they can’t go down the slide because it’s not complete. As I keep on driving I see that the end of the slide ends over a large drop that I can’t see the bottom of…

(the next dream)
I’m back working at Intel and I’m telling them how I don’t want to be there, the desks are lined up against the walls and the windows are large and unblinded…My old boss is in a cube, the GM is in a cube, and another GM for another group is in a cube lined up against the windows…they’re not full cubes, they’re more like desks with little separators between them, something you’d see in a library. They’re telling me new protocol stuff that has changed. The arguement begins over the fact that when I go for walks I have to follow the paths marked with “6″ and whatever way I was going it had to be a “6″ if I were walking the wrong way it’d be a “9″ and that was unacceptable. I begin to say how saying where I had to walk and which way I could walk on a path outside was unacceptable…

That’s all I remember of my dreams…
